The artist XAVIER MAGALDI lives and works in Geneva. He discovered graffiti in the late '80s and was particularly interested in the letters. After some years of torturing letters in a wild style, he has changed for free style and mechanical drawing. His style has evolved in Barcelona, where he painted numerous times during summer. These moments of free art and pure creation laid the basis for his work on canvas that is called "MecaFuturism".
Having started his professional carreer as a watchmaker, Xavier's work is characterized by precision, geometry and technical drawing, inspired by Cubism of the '20s with its pure geometry, and combined with the mecanism promoted by Italian futurists. Xavier' succeeds to materialize time and to capture the energy in his paintings and sculptures.
