KAT & ACTION is a French artist duo composed of visual artist Katia Morgand and graffiti artist Antoine Barse. Their artistic signature is based on the complementarity of their artistic practices, through the fusion of architectural lettering and naturalistic illustrations, they bring life to murals that combine geometric dynamism and figurative delicacy.

KAT has been passionate about drawing since childhood. With degrees in visual arts and art therapy, she has developed a sensitive approach focused on fauna, flora and portraiture. She pays particular attention to chromatic harmonies, which enable her to convey emotions. Her gaze oscillates between the organic softness of nature and the effervescence of urban landscapes, from which she draws a wealth of contrasts.

ACTION initially trained in carpentry and industrial design. Self-taught and passionate about hip-hop culture and graffiti, he developed a rigorous approach to lettering, exploring the interactions between geometric shapes, volumes and perspectives. His work, influenced by constructivism, transforms the alphabet into a from of graphic expression where each line becomes a pure vector of movement and energy.

Since 2016, the couple has been travelling to immerse themselves in new cultures, leaving their colorful mark on walls. At the end of 2018, they formalized their collaboration under the name Kat & Action. Together, using acrylic paint and aerosols depending on the context, they reinterpret graffiti in the form of an equation of shapes and colors. Their universe, recognizable by its graphic and contrasting aesthetic, resembles an "urban jungle". Each mural is an invitation to escape, transforming public space into an open-air gallery, offering passers-by a moment of wonder and reflection.

Kat & Action's approach goes far beyond aesthetics: they seek to reintroduce nature into urban spaces and raise awareness on biodiversity preservation. Beyond their artistic practice, they are actively involved in community projects. They lead participatory workshops to share their passion and raise awareness about urban art.
