Born in Syracuse in 1977, EMANUELE VITTORIOSO is an Italian graffiti artist. From 1997 to 2002 he frequented Milan and the Accademia di Belle Arti of Brera specializing in conservation and restoration of cultural heritage. He later focuses his interest on painting, mainly exhibiting in Italy, France and Spain.
Throughout his educational path he has always favoured the street art, being fascinated by the ‘50s and ‘60s Italian abstract art, realizing a mix between graffiti and abstractionism with a personal and original trait. An abstract expressionism hovering between figurative art and pure energy, drenched with a kind of underground culture that only the deepest urban scenarios can inspire.
His canvas are places where order and chaos trace and debate tireless duels, moments of liberty and spontaneity which express themselves through the alternation between movement and stillness, a dance of elements in a mask-less show that imposes itself as the mother of his emotions. He currently lives and works in Syracuse.
