Born in 2002 in the city of Thionville, CLÉMENT HERRMANN is a Paris-based painter, illustrator and muralist. His professional projects in the world of urban art began even before starting his studies during which he acquired more skills to develop them further.

He paints with the idea of retaining moments of time and engraving stages in his life. His work revolves mainly around portraiture and how it can successfully convey an emotion and communicate an idea, a state, a claim through the medium, color or facial features.

In his work, Clément Herrmann assembles recycled materials to paint portraits in monochrome hues. The viewer is faced with a work in which he can see a face in its proper proportions, and then the portrait decompose as he or she moves around it.

The art of Clément therefore evolves according to where the viewer chooses to observe it. With this environmental dimension, the artist encourages recycling and represents the fact that, to understand something, it is enough to look at it from different angles.
