Biography

Born in 1987, ANTOINE STEVENS is a French artist from Lille. Through his career as a young artist, exhibitions and artistic performances, he has been able to create his own style and place himself legitimately in the contemporary art world. For ten years now, he has been exhibiting his work in France, Luxembourg, London, Monaco, Singapore...

His technique is inspired by urban artists but his subjects are much rather attached to the "classical" painting. Antoine Stevens draws his inspiration from Graffiti and Street Art to create portraits that are like an ode to women, in an authentic pictorial tradition of the representation of women. Through his contemporary aesthetics, from drawing to acrylic painting and spray painting from Graffiti, the artist explores all techniques to bring out the beauty of the femininity, its power and its desire for the future.

In his creations, Antoine Stevens uses different techniques to support his message: the Graffiti that represents the contemporaneity of the women he paints and the luminous notes from the classical painting that are the support of the hope he chooses in a palette of softer and more sensitive colors. A painting between "classic" art and Urban Art, which is mixing the strength of the street with the delicacy of the woman.
