Anaïs Gruson aka ANAGRUZ is a self-taught painter born in the North of France in 1989. A former engineer and wildlife lover, she applies her knowledge of materials to manipulate matter, combining realism and abstract art with acrylics, resulting in fragmented and crackled works that have become her signature since 2018.

Committed to the animal cause, her artistic work is focused on Nature. Faced with the collapse of biodiversity, the artist seeks to find a way as well as a voice, to raise awareness about animal life, and mobilize consciences to preserve the richness of this natural diversity. The artist Anagruz invites you to meet animals from all over the world for a privileged and a straightforward one-to-one through her paintings.

Anagruz has taken part in several exhibitions in France, Belgium and the United Kingdom, including events dedicated to the protection of endangered species. The artist has received many awards and distinctions, and has notably been guest of honor at the prestigious Salon National d'Art Animalier de Bry-sur-Marne in 2024. She has given several lectures on animal protection and biomimicry like at the Sorbonne in April 2023.
